    Beat the Ancestors

    Excellent programme. I like most of the things Dick Strawbridge does but this was especially good.

    I felt the show was a bit rushed. There wasn't a single picture of the original cannon or any historical information about it, when and how it was used. I'd have liked more information. They also seemed to race from one thing to the next.

    I agree but I think they have to make it competitive to appeal to the masses. Bit like Time Team "And as usual we have just THREE days to do it". Forgetting the three weeks getting it all set up and the three weeks filling in the holes.
