    Chocolatey - apt-get for windows

    Anybody played with this yet? CLI package installation, looks like it could be really useful.

    No mention of buying it, I'm guessing it's FOSS.

    It's good, but packages aren't always kept up-to-date so it still means you have to waste time downloading them manually e.g. VLC Media Player (v2.0.2 instead of v2.0.5), Java (v1.7.0.11 instead of v1.7.0.13) Evernote (v4.5.10 instead of v4.6.2.7927), etc. etc.

    You may also be interested in Ketarin.
