You're very lucky to be in the position you are James, I wish you all the best and hope it turns out to be a wholesome experiance.

As Chris and Geoff say - once you moved up here - give us a call and we can meet up.
I went to the temple when they had the open days - its a very impressive place and we were treated very very well.![]()

As much as I hate that organisation I wish you well in your adventure.
Best of luck with your future.
I am not a religious person, but I believe we have no right to say to anyone who is, that they are right or wrong. Lets face it who really knows.
If it is right for you, then who has the right to say other wise. Everyone is free to make their own choice in this life.
I would take my hat off to you, if I wore one. Good luck.
One of the headteachers of the two schools I work for has just come to me and offered me my job back in two years time. I must have done something right then...
congratulations leBat, glad things have worked out for you. Wish you luck in your adventure, whatever it brings.
All the very best. An excellent thing to do as well!
Paul
All the best _BAT_. Perhaps you could do a little blogging and tell us how your life and experiences are coming on in your new way of life. If you get time drop a message in here as well or something.
Take care.
Ohh yes..a blog. You could call it the Godblog![]()

I wish you the very best of luck, James - it's a brave move, and it makes me question whether I would have the faith and confidence to do the same if my church called me in this way.
It's also really good news that your school has offered to take you back; that sounds like proof that God is behind the move! Even if things don't work out with your current place, I'm sure that many other employers would snap you up. Someone with skills and experience that are two years out-of-date must be better than someone with no experience at all.
Good luck _Bat_ for the future - I'm sure it will be a very rewarding experience.
Also congrats on being offered your job again - I'm sure that's a huge weight off your mind!
Okay I leave this Friday and with all the things I have to do before that time, this is unfortunately going to be the last time I post on here probably for the next two years.
Regarding meeting people up in Preston - I'm not sure this will be allowed to be honest unless I just happen to see you in the street (even though I have no idea what any of you look like lol).
I expect edugeek v2.0 will be long up and running by the time I get back, I just hope some of you remember me!

I wish you all the best James, and yes, we will all still be here, you will be very welcome on your return (we'll keep your user account warm for you). Secondus should be up and running by the end of this year, of not sooner (I've seen the mock up and all I can say is WOW!). If you are ever in Chorley town centre you may see me knocking around occasionally. Just look for a Meat Loaf look alike!
