Was about a centimetre on the ground at home his AM, frozen. Once out of my estate, the roads were OK, I thought. Get into work with no hassles, even though the site is white over and frozen.

Snow/ice tyres FTW. No slippage at all.

I think my phone is in denial! Outside is snow and grey skies but the weather app on my phone says Partly Sunny.

Surprising just how a different tread pattern can affect handling. It's just a shame tyres are so expensive, otherwise more people would have snow/ice tyres for the winter.
As for the 4x4s locking up.... people really ought to learn to drive the damn things, they only lock up when using your brakes too much. That's what a gearbox is for, controlled descent and all......
No snow here, just bloody cold again, -18c. forecast more white stuff tomorrow.

Business as normal at ICT Towers in the heart of the Ribble Valley. Grey skies and a sleety-drizzle that never seems to stop.

Beginning to wish I still lived in Chesterfield, the rest of my family have had an excellent few weeks of snow!
