    An I reading this right.....?

NEW! SONY ERICSSON XPERIA ARC S MOBILE PHONE UTILITIES 7311271353478 | eBay

It looks like someone on eBay is selling a bundle of phone apps and making it look like it's a phone for sale. Am I reading that right?
The bid are over £110 now!

    It's just reached £128!

From what I read it is just a cd that's on offer...

looks like your right, the fact that it has details about the phone under item specifications are probably what people are looking at.

    I "think" it's listed as a phone:

Listed as Sony Ericsson XPERIA arc S Latest Model 1 GB Midnight blue Unlocked Smartphone
Also got the item specific details listed as the phone. Also listed under "Mobile & Smartphones".

If it is listed as such, it's listing title is rather poor and misleading.

Want Angry Kid, Little Britian, Bo Selecta etc Movie Clips and hot new video clips??
Cutting edge new quality entertainment right there!!!

I think you're right, it's a CD full of old crap.

Had to LOL at the copyright disclaimer at the bottom!

The 5 people who have left him feedback have all got a feedback of 3 themselves and have all bought the same identical item!

Not surprising given all the Images, animated gifs and pointless large WordArt effects - that are more than likely hot-linked their original websites

I hovered over a few, they're linked to photobucket.

I'm sure if you did a reverse image search there would be a lot of references to fake ebay listings.

£128 to buy the Crazy Frog polyphonic ringtone. It's like 2004 all over again.

On the one hand, caveat emptor; on the other hand, he's clearly listing it in the mobile phone category in an attempt to catch people out, and eBay always side with the buyer now - to the point where the seller can only leave positive feedback or no feedback these days.

I've reported it to eBay. I suggest you do the same to save some poor punter from being ripped off.

I'm sure distance selling regs still apply. [CBA to check.]

If anything, you have his address.

If he is an adept scammer, even the address details will be fake.
