Apart from the false advertising angle [if it's advertised as beef]... I'm not seeing a problem.
Horse meat is edible.

A friend runs a burger shop, hand made from a variety of meats, and quickly sent a message round on all his advertising channels
"We got beef, we got chicken, we got buffalo, wild boar, kangaroo, crocodile, we got live stock, we got live stock BUT no horse I'm afraid you'll have to go to Iceland, Tesco, Aldi or Lidl for those bad boys"
On a slightly different note, if you are in Brighton, do head to his place. Gorgeous it is.

I just had a burger, like I do nearly every day [/TrueStory]... All I could think about was this.
They did taste different the past few days.

As a somewhat 'ex' vegetarian, it doesn't bother me at all. If you're gonna eat animals, what difference does it make eating a cow compared to a horse?

right, neigh mare puns ive had enough
Surely the main issue is being ignored here ...... they also contained pork. Rather more significant I think if you happened to be Muslim or Jewish!!!!!

A burger walks into a bar and orders a pint.
The barman says "Can you repeat that, I didn't quite catch it."
The burger replies "Sorry, I'm a bit horse."
It depends on whether it was stated to contain pork or not.
If it was, it's not a problem.
If you have special dietary requirements, YOU have to check these things.

I've just been to Tesco cafe and had a burger.
"anything on it sir?' They asked.
'Go on then, a fiver each way'. I replied.

I liked the bbc videowhe they cooked and ate horse. It made me very hungry indeed!

I want a proper horse burger now, this entire story has been bad for the horse population...
