Files lost! Help
had one of our deputies having various issues with his laptop, as it was the old NMs laptop with loads of crap installed and god knows what tweaks i decided to reimage.
it seems his files havent been syncing and the server copies are from last summer! the hdd has a fresh OS on it now.
i have run get data back on it but in the csc folder there is nothing useful (d1-d8 folders).
Has anyone any ideas where to procede?
thanks

I have had some success with removing the hdd and hanging it off another machine as a extra and accessing it from there as if it was a storage device.

GDB has found some files but not others. currently running power data recovery (free) another 3 hours wait now
has anyone ideas about the CSC folder? i can see the rest of the file structure pre install just not that one. i know win does strange things with that folder anyway
