With everything that's happened to me over the past year and a half I found myself with less time on El Geek.
However, I plan to change this downward trend and try to become more active on here!

ooh eduhobnobs - how I have missed them!

Been busy - mainly working and recovering from 2 SAN failures in 3 months.
Still keeping my eye open for jobs that have a bit more money to bring in.
Learning SCCm 2012 off my own back and loving it so far

Welcoming a new cat to the family and generally getting read for Christmas now!

Hoping to go on an ITIL course in the New Year too which should be of use!

Been struggling to implement the hell that is "EduRoam" (For those that don't known - it's basically a giant Wireless cloud that has a SSID called err "Eduroam" and allows you to connect to your own University from another participating university via RADIUS..)
Trouble is that in the UK it's controlled by JANET who has ZERO documentation on how to set it up [for Windows NPS! plenty of "hints" for FreeRADIUS which we've been told not to use?!?] and I have until the 21st December to get it up and running!)
So looks like I will also ave to write the HOWTO for the entire academic community as well!

As well as do all the other stuff at the same time...

Yeah I downloaded the Cookbook - trouble is we use NPS on 2008 R2 - and whilst its similar to IAS - there are also differences.
The good think is - I feel a junket coming up as it will need to be tested from another University
