I've been told I should bever have kids. I have certain criteria that need to be met, or I won't be interested in the child.. it would have to be a girl, called Kayleigh (I like the song), be very girly, intelligent and interested in the same things I am. She would also have to speak English properly - I don't like text speak, or the latest "fad speak" that happens to be going around. I'm not interested in a boy, or football. Apparantly this would make me a bad parent. Oh, and I'm always worried that my adult friends will break something in my flat.. god knows what I'd be like with a child thundering around - probably a nervous wreck.

No, kids here, but looking how they can act not sure how the human race has lasted this long. When I started I thought have kids was something I would like to do but now I can see why kids are not for every one.

22, no kids that I know of, I aim to keep it that way for now. I'm not in a place financially or relationship(-ally?) to father a child.
Someday, sure, when I'm capable of caring for a child and have a serious partner. Talked about it with my ex-fiance (not planning to have kids, but it's better to have a plan in case accidents happen, than to not have a plan) but nothing ever came of it. And then we split up. So it looks like that's a no-go :P

And far too young anyway, IMHO to be thinking about children.

Curious why this thread is for guys only...?
Not all women want kids you know! I'd rather have a dog :-)
