A level results out and my eldest lad did well so getting rid of him to Uni. in September!!! (Music Technology at Leeds).
Unfortunately my eldest girl has now finished at Oxford (yes I know, ......... a swot!!) so is back home.
You get rid of one and another returns, and they seem to do nothing but eat me out of house and home!!

The only reason they are staying with you is because they don't want to fork out money for rent, food and Cleaning Services...
I mean.. whats there not to like... I wish I could move back home so I could leach off of my Mum

When my older sister went to university she lived at home. I just couldn't handle it so i decided to move away for uni.
It's the best choice i ever made. It gives you such independance and freedom to get on with things you've got to do in your own time and not be rushed into doing a crappy job because you've got to go visit family or some other tedious task.
I have another month then i get to go back...can't wait!

Think how many parties I can have with my own house.
Though I am tempted to sell it, quit my job and go travelling.

I returned home for a year after graduation... lack of a permanent job enforced it. However, it motivated me to get a permanent job and be able to be free of the parents again! After 3 years at uni, I found living with my parents claustrophobic (and they're lovely)
There's hope SteveT... that she finds living with you similarly claustrophobic and decides she's better off in rented somewhere; even if it isn't as plush as home!
