Did I mention it was on the other side of Everest?

It's been snowing steadily for about half an hour here. The flakes are very small, so the effect is icing sugar rather than snow-scape.

Sorted, you're all lieing no snow fell today, I for one have no windows in the office and refuse to move into a colder room with windows. Until leaving time and having to push the car home in huge snow drifts! Only then will I admit I was wrong

That's probably the only snow we're getting until next year.

Just started snowing, but only lightly. Not expecting anything to change, not cold enough to stick around.

Interestingly, a DPD van managed to get from Exeter to Minehead via Taunton, but our staff who live in Taunton can't make it in...

wooo we're closing because of the snow here in North Buckinghamshire. Only had an inch or two but it's forecast to get worse and all our Kids live out in villages via bus, long weekend for me xD
Snow days will be one of the few things I miss when I stop working in schools, and that's only a month away!

To be fair, while the main A roads and Motorway are (IMO) not too bad (still large amounts of slush, ice & snow patches, M5 down to two lanes with most cars going @ 50mph), I can understand why some people wound not want to drive on them. I guess it's all depends on their confidence with driving in such conditions. Any other roads, lanes, side streets, back ways etc are a lot worse as they have not been gritted, or have a low volume of vehicles going down them. The wife did not want to drive in it so I dropped her off into work (new job still in her probation period so while she did not want to drive on the roads, she really wanted to get into work).
