This is what happens when you let the NM and Junior Tech install network equipment!

I can no longer call myself the network manager, although I manage the network more than anyone else. I am now mearly Senior Tech..

    Anyway

I sent our NM with a Firebox to our sister site for installation.

After sourcing some captive nuts, NM + Junior Network Tech set about the Physical install.

Ah, you ordered the Austrailian version.

    It's a common mistake.

Powered off, no network connectivity and upside down.

They don't do things by halves, do they?

If you're going to do it wrong, do it wrong properly.

Tell them what they have done and suggest that to tidy the cabinet up they will need to re-rack the server the same way........

A Firebox is installed up-side-down in a network cab.
