On the edugeek header it says: The IT Professionals' life line.
I remember a discussion about the apostrophe, but not about the final two words.
Lifeline is ONE word if used as a noun, as here
I can't believe I didn't notice it![]()

How could you have? You were in storage since '97. :P
You got nothing else to do again?![]()

I am a bit bored. I am sure there are things I should be doing but....

You could help me fix RMMC and WDS.

I would if I could
@elsiegee40 and the rest of the pedantic geeks - how did we miss this?
I missed it because I never look at the banner. Good job you were here.

Because most of my visits are from subscription emails so start most the way down the page, and when I visit the site normally I go via settings or what's new, so never see the page title in the title bar... not that my 8 dozen tabs would let me see it anyway.
Yes, my only defence is ignorance. It works for everyone else, why can't I have it too.

I knew it was there and phrased like that.
Lifeline and life line are interesting to identify which is correct. Lifeline is always correct but is also historically life-line (also a short story by Robert A. Heinlein).
As there are no set rules about hyphenation of words, you find variations at times, including the removal of the hyphen to form a single word (lifeline) or a retro fitting of words to separate them (life line). There are examples of it as separate words, but the accepted is as a single word or hyphenated. If it is hyphenated it can be split as long as it retains the same meaning ... although that then sets of arguments about the development of new words or the re-application of an existing word for new meanings. Bring back 1984 and Newspeak to get it all sorted!
Personally, I have also added an imaginary set of brackets around 'life' ... so you get ...
EduGeek - The IT Professionals' Life (Line)

I wouldn't hyphenate it
As a verb, it is two words
As a noun, it is one word
