When it was thrown around in Bedfordshire, they said "April", but then changed their minds to "immediately after job evaluation" then to "backdated when the scheme get implemented, not when the job was evaluated". There was uproar and threats of mass walk outs, that they didnt bother. In the BITEN (Bedfordshire Information Technology Educational Networks) Meetings, we decided it would be best to threaten the walk out. What happened next was it didn't happen until other authorities surrounding does it. So now they're waiting for Luton/Buckinghamshire/Thames Valley/Hertfordshire to do it and see how its worked out.

Just found this thread - sorry I have made a new one!

No letter received here - anyone else? I think they were supposed to post on the 1st Nov? Or should we have received them then?

Well for us for and im sure for other people to we work throughout the whole of the year including school holidays. But we can now book holidays in term time. If they changed us to just term time and changed our pay to reflect this then I'm and my team are not going to be happy. And any jobs that should of been done in the school. Holidays will not be done

I've not had mine yet - just spoken to the headteacher of the school I'm at today and she says that I am listed as a "Query pending".

Most of our staff had had them on Friday except those of us (me included) who have had theirs held back for 'Quality Assurance'.

    Seriously?!

Solo primary school tech here. Received letter on Friday advising that I would be grade 7 (pay point 20 ) on the pay scale. Received phone call from the head about 20 minutes after reading the letter to say that there has been a mistake and i'll actually be a grade 9 (pay point 28) from March.

Bit of a difference! How does that compare to what you're on now (if you don't mind me asking)?

Well I am pleased you have done well out of it - that is great. Shame the increase doesn't start immediately haha. It's first of Jan is it? Or April?

Just bear in mind the school will be paying TAs a LOT less so the budget will balance :-)

I am a primary school tech too, I was hoping to be on Grade 7 at least so will be interesting to see what will happen.
