Skyfall - what do you think?

I was quite looking forward to this film, I even took a half day so i could go last Friday ont he opening day but was soooooooooooooo dissapointed and it looks liek I am the only person on the planet who is. Listening to Kermode and Mayo they were wetting themselves over it and so is TotalFilm.

Anyone else seen it and thought it wasn't as good as the hype.

    Think i enjoyed Dredd more.

I thought the first 10 mins was good, as well as the last 10 but the rest was just boring, to the point where i fell asleep. Still cant beat Golden Eye and a few after that.

Dredd and Taken 2 were 2 good films and really out classed Skyfall.

After the half hour of adverts, the first 10-15 mins or so...great, remainder of the film... lacklustre at best. Almost as bad as "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" with George Lazenby

    Don't worry...

For balance, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole film. Plenty of standout moments, if you disregard a couple of glaring errors!

Anyway, enjoy it! Definitely the best Bond film that I've seen at the cinema!

Oh...if your cinema is anything like Odeon, Kettering.....

You'll get 20mins of adverts which pretty much consist of a Bond trailer! You'll feel like you've seen the film already!

Bring back the Ohio, Kettering just hasn't been the same since that place closed down.

I'm struggling to decide whether to go to see this as I really enjoyed Casino Royale but Quantum of Solace was so lacklustre I nearly fell asleep!

Don't think you'll be falling asleep during this one!

I think it's important to see ANY film with an open mind. You've paid your money, so prepared to be entertained! Those dissenting voices probably expected something different....

Don't be put off by negative reviews....Make your own mind up!

Just got back, had to push back the viewing time by three showings, could only have either 3rd / 5th row from the front!

Very much enjoyed it, though my driver nearly fell asleep a few times, she doesn't do late nights! Didn't look forward to the return trip :P

Saw it sunday night and thoroughly it enjoyed it especially the last 20 mins towards the end. Nearly thought about not bothering to see it as people had said it wasn't very good / boring etc but so glad i did go and see it!

I actually enjoyed it, thought it could have done with a bit more action and less... "chasing" scenes.

The start and ending was great, I agree the 4 star rating. I thought it was better than the last film because that felt too much like the borne trilogy.

Casino Royale is still my favourite though out of the craig films.
