The Register has just announced that Mike Singleton, of Lords of Midnight and Doomdarks Revenge fame (amongst others) has passed away.

I'd just like to thank Mike for chewing up so many evenings in my teenage years.

It's such a shame. I was not born in the 80's but I know that that was the turning point for narrative in games and he was the father of it. RIP Mike Singleton.
