Out of Box IT Thinking by Teacher!

PDF page on screen was in vertical landscape - they just pressend the old Shift-Alt-Arrow to display it horizontally for the pupils to view !

    Nice one

Blimey! I knew there had to be a use for that screen rotation thing, I'd just never thought of that one

Gosh, no. The entertainment value from rotating the screen goes all the way up to Year 13 here.

I've caught Year 11's doing it here xD They'll do anything to avoid doing work.
I saw a Year 8 open a notebook whose screen was rotated to the left, only to hold it as if it were a physical book and exclaim "Oh, yeah! It's like an iPad!".. I promptly took the notebook off him and fixed the screen.. I wouldn't wish that on anybody, even little brats.

He seemed slightly perplexed when I told him 'You're welcome'. I think he was under the impression his book-notebook-iPad-thing was cool. Poor, deluded child.

Right clicking the PDF and choosing "Rotate Clockwise" might have been an easier option of course!

You guys are all so old school .. today here, we had a girl going round computers and at the logon screen setting the accessibility options so it was high def screen with magnification and magnifier bar on it .. Pah, why use three keyboard clicks to confuse a teacher when you can do 10 mouse clicks to do the same thing .. lol ..
