    Google Edu Email Question

Good morning folks, i have recently started a new post at a 2year old academy but unfortunatly had no handover, no credentials for google and documentation is lacking. having never managed google email for students is also not helping.

i need to setup about 200 email addresses for the new intake (y10 & y12) if anyone can point me to the right direction that would be great!

You should be able to get to your domain management page by going to https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/yourdomain - you'll need an admin account to log in...

Assuming you haven't got Google Apps Directory Sync or any other third party AD Sync set up, you can easily bulk upload from CSV by choosing Advanced Tools and Bulk Update as in the pic...

Set up google apps directory sync, if you control the dns you can control the google apps account, it's either verified by a dns entry, or a file put onto the root website, ie without the www

Easiest way to sync passwords is with Securing your Google Apps SHA1 password hashes The Angry Technician

Requires everyone to reset their password, which when I did it ended up with 3 teachers having a blank password without even realising it. the dir sync app noticed. Min pw length solves that problem anyway.
