    The time when football fans were hated

    I used to be a massive football fan but stopped going just after Hillsborough for the very reasons stated in this quite excellent written article.
    I did start watching Wycombe about 10 years ago but after an incident in Preston and Carlisle I again stopped and have not been since.

    Funny, now the fans are mostly well behaved and it's the footballers that the world wants to punch.
