"HD Ready" now means up to 1080i, "HD Ready 1080p" is eaxctly what it says on the tin.. HD ready - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There's no 'Full HD" spec anymore.
    From spec on site
    1080p Full HD N

Have a look at Richer Sounds. They often have some good deals in their 'Sale' items.

+1. I can't stand anything made with glossy black plastic. Apart from being a fingerprint/dust/scratch magnet and looking cheap & tacky, I don't want to see reflections in the bezel while I am watching TV.

I suppose the next best thing would be TVs with really thin bezels such as Samsung's Series 8 TVs, LG's Cinema Screens and Philips PFL6900 Series Frameless TVs.

Meh, you really want a border to seperate the picture from the background, I've bought some black masking tape, see how that goes.
