Default Working over the summer?

Not me, 6 weeks off! WooHoo! Starting 2pm Thursday.

My special holiday shirt is being worn tomorrow, being a loud and vile Hawaiian type shirt. The kind that looks good on over weight middle aged geeks.

4 of us, 115 new workstations, 100 new laptops, lots of room moves, new images for all 600+ workstations, lots of backend improvements, re-arranging our office, re-cabling at least 2 cabinets and lots more! Oh yes we're very busy this summer

I'm supposed to do one week during the hokolidays, but it's going to be a minimum of 2 as there's only me to do everything.

The kids broke up yesterday, so at least I can go to work dressed in something less smart and more appropriate for crawling under desks!

Sounds like mine - plus a Video Conferencing suite install and installing our internally hosted VLE.

There's 1 of me. I'm in all but 3 days of the 6 week holiday. That time off is to go to the Big Chill festival - which I will definately be requiring!!!

I've got loads to do - including PAT testing which I detest, new server to install and a few new workstations.

Gone are the days of watching a series of 24 over 3 days *cough* October Half Term *cough*

Yep - in for all 6 long, busy weeks. Too many jobs to mention and still getting more added to the list by people who "forgot" to tell me their plans when they thought about them 3 months ago. Gits.

Yep, same here, 120 new machines, 80+ interactive boards to install, all 11 media cabinets to be re cabled, new comms system, a few room moves.

We usually have about 20 room moves, however, why move machines for staff which change dept when all machines have the same software on them, so it has been decided the machines go with the position and not the person, there have a been a few tears!

and the best bit is, there are only two of us, as the other guy resigned and left yesterday! And hopefully I’ll be transferring during the holidays too!
