For PC Players, I found a bug with the Space Core mod.
After finally visiting the Western Watchtower and getting bored of battering the annoying thing against a fence post, I decided to take him home. One trip to Breezehome later and I have this lovely round ornament chattering away to itself about space.
Unfortunately placing Space Core in Breezehome causes his voice to appear in every single building you walk into! This is either a bug or my housecarl Lydia is exceptionally good at voice projection.
Must be a PS3 issue as I've not heard of that on Xbox or PC
So yes, im giving it another chance, so far after an evening of play im Lv16.
Its still buggy as hell, but im enjoying it. Graphic glitches, invisible horses, death loops and really bad FPS sync issues.
Think the concept of pay to train, level up, pick pocket gold back and repeat is a bit OTT but its working for me :P
I dont think I get the mechanics of the game!
I get a quest, im level 26, I progress, killing things in one or two hits... I get to boss, get one shotted.
There seems to be a big hole in my game play, what am I doing wrong?
Are you using Barrier Spell/Block?
My typical fight is cast Stoneflesh armour buff, block, block, bash to stagger, hit, hit, block. Running away when re-casting Stoneflesh or Fast Healing. My magic resist is poor though so casters destroy me.
Also use resist potions, health potions (instant effect when paused in menu!) and interrupt any casts or power attacks with bash or Unrelenting Force shout. The slow time whilst blocking power attacks talent really helps as you can tell when you are about to get smashed and can jump back/interrupt. :)
This is from a 1H+Shield defensive character's view though.
I have the same problem Chr1s. On my way to do one of the main quests, fancied clearing out a dungeon. Killed all the other minions but when trying to kill the boss, it just wouldn't happen. After 40minutes, I had to put it down before the xbox went out the window.
I have mostly been just hacking things but getting to grips with magic now though so maybe I need to go down the blocking magic path.
Not got Stoneflesh.....
I think it could be a glitch you two have... The scaling of enemy's levels is different to oblivion. Some dungeons scale with your level some are set at levels. Sounds like you are in a 'set level' dungeon but the normal baddies have matched your entry level (or are the lowest level they can be...)
For anyone who is playing on the PS3 and is experiencing the game crashing when you submerge in water, the fix is here - Game freeze after going underwater - Bethesda Softworks Forums
Am I the only one that has problems with Lydia and Faendal when it comes to trying to get them to bloody follow me and not end up 50 miles away? I keep getting raided by Bandits and find myself fending my own back because they're too busy having a tea break.
I managed to kill Lydia by accident... oops!
Ooooohhh.....do share! Sometimes, she gets in the way and killing her off would be spot on. :)

She was low health and doing her hiding in the corner bit and I just hit her with an arrow and she was dead, by accident, of course!
Wise move, CHR1S. Wise move indeed!
I remember getting all excited when I did my first ever enchantment (Imperial Bow of Fear!) - "Yay this is great, I can make enemies flee!"
Went to do the first shot, Faendal ran in front of me. The arrow hit him straight in the head and then he ran off.. leaving me to fight a Frost Troll.. at Level 6.. with 10 Iron Arrows and a Steel Dagger (I lost my weapons, okay? :()
GOOD PLAN OF ATTACK.
Stoneflesh is an Alteration spell and I bought it from the wizard in Whiterun. Not all spells are visible until you are high enough skill in their talent tree.
I spent about 150 hours on Skyrim, and never used anything more than fire spell in one hand and an axe in the other.
No stoneflesh or other types of magic to 'buff' me or disable enemies; just burn and hack, burn and hack, and it got me through the whole game with no worries - in fact I wish there had been harder parts, everything after level 30 just felt like I was walking it.
And this is why I think the game is bugged, or im rubbish, or something.
