Ive been looking at the Samsung LE-40M87BDX most reviews seem to think quite highly of it http://www.hdtvorg.co.uk

We have some LG 42LC55's in school now and they are superb. I saw somewhere that was selling them for £529 the other day.
Costco do some good TV's, they have Samsung, Sony etc. They all come with 3 years warranty.

try ebuyer they have some very good hd tvs on offer. i got myself a 22" samsung just for my room and its a bargain for 240 quid i paid for it. boss recently got a 32" lg and thats a corker! for about 400! deffo worth having a look or try directtvs.co.uk

We have a Samsung HDTV. Wasn't that impressed with it playing Pro Evo on the PS2 on it. Lots of slowdown and pixelation, and the same with regular sky tv.
Now I have invested in a 360 and Pro Evo 2008 in 1080p. I love it. Crisp, quick and clear.
I now want Sky HD for next years premiership season. Think I might threaten to quit sky and see if the offer me a free HD box :)

whatever you do don't buy a plasma, recharging them is expensive and has to be done every 3-5 years, last time my mate had it done it cost him just sort of £300.
nothing wrong with a PS3, some of the games are good and it has Blu-ray wihich is great!
