Possible candidate for the worst game ever?* Check out the footage :)
BBC News - Ashes Cricket 2013 game taken off sale
*Actually, the worst game ever was Supergran on the C16! Truly, truly dreadful.
Superman on N64...pretty dreadful game...couldn't even give the game away!
Ah I see you gentlemen have never experienced 'Biggles' on the Spectrum
At least it made it more interesting than the real thing.. ahem ;)
"ET" on the Atari 2600. The prosecution rests.
Indiana Jones, also Atari 2600. Check.
Well, if you are interested I just found the most tasteless game ever: The 10 Worst Games of All Time | PCWorld
I think @jinnantonnixx has to have the point, as there's not many other games that have precipitated a market-wide crash of an entire entertainment medium, nor ended up buried in a mass grave in the Mexican desert (according to rumour, anyhow).
A couple more videos (from the RPS article):
If the graphics were a little better we might have been able to convince people that the above were taken from Australia's last innings, actually. It seems appropriate that this game was released now given that the English cricket side are equally as broken and horrific to watch right now. I wonder if we can withdraw them as well.
I wonder if that expedition ever found them in the desert?

*For younger geekers. This isn't a joke, there really was a crash in 83 caused by poor quality games flooding the markets and driving consumers away. ET was the icing on the cake. Also check out he Atari 2600 version of Pac Man.
IIRC, Atari also made more ET carts than there were consoles sold!
Never gonna beat Brian Lara Cricket
Carmageddon 64. I think one of the independent Nintendo Magazines gave it 4%. I know someone who bought it and completed it though. :P
I also foresee another game crash soon if things keep going as they are. We are being flooded with titles that aren't unplayable, just absurdly priced rehash with a bit of dubious business practice sprinkled on top.
That's not footage from a cricket game, there. It's actual footage from the first Ashes Series......
