Retro Gaming - The Definitive List
come on then, lets all take a trip down memory lane. what games for the consoles/computers you owned 'back in the day' were the ones that you always played?
For me I'd have to go for:
Spectrum -
Dizzy series; I know it was on all platforms but it was a superb series of games nonetheless
Joe Blade; Side scrolling shooter which I just loved
And one out of the blue........
Rapscallion; absolute classic game hehe
Sega Mega Drive -
Streets of Rage series; need I say more. That music is legendary
Toejam and Earl; see above :D
Even now I load up the genesis emulator and get the toejam and SOR roms out
PC -
Doom/Doom2 (not a big fan of Final Doom and Doom3); What.....a.....cracker!
Quake (again, not a massive fan of Q2/Q3/Q4); First multiplayer game I played online....oh the many hours on Wireplay dial-up!!
Any offers?

I was part of one of their WPDML (deathmatch leagues) for Quake. God knows how much that costed me over the year.
I think BT did take them over yeah.
Re: Retro Gaming - The Definitive List
Hehe @ wireplay. Played Quakeworld and Q2 _alot_ on Globalnet - cue a couple of £400 phone bills and my parents banning me from the internet for 6 months. Pity as I was kicking some ass!
