I've got a colo'd server with Mythic-Beasts in there Cambridge DC which I've setup as a OpenTTD server. The address is openttd.matt40k.co.uk. Server password is: edugeek. Let me know if anyone wants to change the server settings etc.
Just be aware I'm still playing with the settings so advice etc would be gratefully received and until I figure it all out, it may change.

Nice! I love this game and lost many hours to it.
EDIT - Some of the cities on there have grown enormous already!

Yer is one of those games, I've not had a chance to actual play on it, apparently it's too easy however

Also I removed the password to join.

Cool stuff, I love this game and can spend many hours on it, too many. I've joined and started a small train line. Need a hefty loan to get going though.

You might want to beware of removing the password. There are certain unscrupulous people who resort to level crossing crashes and map sinking to ruin the game.

OK, will stick it back on then, need to restart the server at somepoint so will do it altogether.

I ahvea spare TS server. I say tongiht we get as many people as we can, jump on to it and shift some pixels around the map.

Haha sounds like a plan!! Need to remember to load from my Win7 drive as OpenTTD doesn't appear to run on Win8

I've restarted the server and the game - lower loan I'm afraid, towns don't grow as big and vehicles break down. Also the servers passworded - password is edugeek.
I restarted after it became impossible to realistically build any transport (unless you had a few hundred million like a few of the companies did). I've got the save if anyone wants me to load it back up

I'll set up a TS room tonight.

From what I've seen, most OpenTTD servers restart every few hours - days, depending on the number of people, so it may be worth creating a schedule to do it instead.

Try this if you want a chat whilst you play. It's my own server that comes with my BF3 Gameserver:

I think you might be right. Reload at 04:00 each night?
