Does it need a restart?
Also, could you consider running the extra zoom version - it makes dealing with directional signals on diagonal rail much less prone to mistakes.
If there was a possibility of arranging the same start time for all players, I'd then suggest that using a very small map would be better. Large maps are quite fun in a therapeutic way but the competitive aspects of the game play only come into their own when people are being forced to compete for the same limited resources.
Thanks BTW for hosting this.
I think you've got the auto-save period set too often. It seems to do it every 1-2 minutes, and as it takes 8 seconds each time, it is jarring at the moment.
I like the idea of an 'everyone start at the same time' idea, but the only way I could think of doing that would be something like a weekend tournament or something.
The extra zoom I was hoping to wait till for the new version of openttd - it's in the beta so hopefully it'll stay.
PC Engines alix3d3 product file). Was trying to fix munin on it but I've yet to fix it since I've rebuilt it, to prove it.
If it's still dropping out after changing the auto save I'll go back to 512x512.
I'd say set it to every 10 minutes. That way, if something fails, you only lose 10 minutes of changes.
can inflation be knocked off as when years get high anyone starting has a real isue affording much lol
OK, no inflation.
Might change the name as well to "Edugeek OpenTTD server" or something, thoughts? Would EduGeek be happy if it used it's name?
Oook.. who's playing it at work?
Ohhh OpenTTD. Really must get back into this (perhaps once my ME3 fix is done ). Used to play TTD for days on end .
