Are you Awesome?
Welcome to the Xbox Community Ambassadors Program!
Do you love Xbox and helping others? Are you awesome? If so, you have what it takes to be a part of our exciting Xbox Community Ambassadors program!
So, what’s an Xbox Community Ambassador?
Xbox Community Ambassadors are Xbox LIVE customers just like you who know their stuff, like to help others, and earn avatar items doing it!
Ambassadors can be found on the official Xbox.com forums, on Xbox Ambassador Chat, or playing on Xbox LIVE, offering help and how-to advice about games, the Xbox 360 console, Kinect, and of course, Xbox LIVE. Come join the thousands of Xbox enthusiasts who are already part of the Community Ambassadors program and make your fellow Xbox users’ experience even more FUN!
What’s in it for me?
- Earn avatar items by answering questions on Ambassador Chat. The more you answer & the higher your fellow customers rate you, the more you earn!
- Track your stats in your Ambassador profile page and on the official Ambassador Chat Leaderboards.
- Access to the Private Ambassadors Forum on the Xbox.com Forums.
- An Ambassador Forums icon to sport your XCA pride.
- Early access to xbox updates (including firmware, dashboard and live content)
- Warm fuzzy feelings when you help!
NB - there is a minimum gamer score you MUST have...
It is either 6 games maxed out or 6 games over 1000 points or 9 games over 800 points.
Atleast 12 months left on your xbox live account (thank god for 14 month subscriptions!)
Nah I like 14 month subscriptions...cost the same as 12 month subscriptions
whats your xbox live username / email address, I can try to put in a good word
As an ambassador how often are your services called on? and how are you contacted for help?
[PM also sent]

I am called upon on a daily basis, usually get called upon via XBox Messenger service, takes about 10 mins of my day if that. If I went to the forum side of the ambassador program I would probably spend about 2 hours a day posting and such.
What would be a typical inquiry you would be expected to help with?
Can be anything from how to get an achievement for a game which I have maxed out, or tips on multiplayer aspects of the games I play, or generic xbox account queries which I send to the accounts team
yet your user/gamertag doesnt show on their leaderboard at all.. odd..
you can opt to have it not show...I just set it to show so it should update within a day
Also my ambassador account was re-activated in August when I heard about the new dashboard..after answering 1 question I got on but bare in mind, what I posted above is based on when I put effort into it
Aparently im awesome as im now on this too :P
nicely nicely! also whilst not officially working for MS, you can have it on your cv
