I never really modded a PC game before so is it worth trying?
Mods can do lots to a game, with GTA4 I found some mods of cars so I replaced all the old standard cars in GTA4 for like Renault Clio V6 Sports and Nissan GTR's haha it was awesome in my eyes! You can also add more missions and different textures basically if you want to change it you can on a computer.

Unlikely but I suppose they wanted to get the PS3 and X360 versions out as quickly as they could as they knew the latest generation consoles where only over the horizon so it made sense for them to release these early otherwise they could have lost some of the potential market.

I heard they have had to employ more people and art designers for new Graphical content for the next gen consoles and the PC so this could have easily took them a few months and then it'd make sense on a business pov to release the game near to Christmas.

They've been working on the PC version since before it launched on last gen, was talking to one of the Devs this morning about the announcement.

The only game I've properly modded was Saint's Row 3... I effectively has SR4 before it was announced.

The right mods can give you a whole new game to play, in terms of content or challenge.

Nail on the head. Of course isn't every game compared to it's console counter-part!

Should be! Whether it is or not, who knows :P

The multiplayer should have a smooth launch this time, they've had plenty of time to work on it now :P

Well @abillybob I wouldn't know, I've only had my first gaming rig for about 4/5months. Been a console gamer before this!! :P And if it doesn't look gorgeous I'm holding @DMcGuigan responsible for getting my hopes up hehe

    I'm sure it'll lock gorgeous...

...In 4-5 years time when all the script kiddies have gotten round to making TMNT mods for it (or whatever).

GTA 3 is still the best in the series for me. I just wish Liberty City was bigger! I didn't enjoy Vice City too much and San Andreas I just ended up using a trainer to do max health and fitness! Going gym is hard enough in real life. Don't want to go to the gym in my gaming as well!

GTA 4 was good, but the car handling was absolutely shocking. I remember going on wild car chase rampages on GTA 3/VC/SA but on 4 it almost felt like a chore to drive. Hope they've fixed that for GTA 5.

For an open world game car handling in 5 was pretty good. I thought both Sleeping Dogs and Burnout Paradise were better (nothing has beaten Burnout Paradise IMHO). Watch Dogs took some getting used to but is playable if you don't mind wipeing out every bus shelter you pass. GTA:IV - unplayably shocking. The attrocious car machanics are the biggest reason for not playing more than the first hour (that and the story ).

Yes, GTA5 is much better for driving, gta4 was awful, the camera angle being my main issue with it

Glad to hear that. I agree with the handling for Sleeping Dogs and Burnout Paradise. Burnout as well as most Criterion Games titles have always had the best handling for me.

It was released under the title - Need For Speed Most Wanted and ironically enough, the driving was terrible!
