That or she will read in bed if I am not on FPS. When her mum comes over, she actively encourages me to go on the xbox, but mind you, her mum and myself have never gotten along that well.
I dont mind, means every saturday I get atleast 5 hours on the xbox to crack out some gaming

I guess in most cases, the following applies:
Gaming > Mother-in-law
However, in my case I'm luck and my in-laws are awesome.

The Beta has ended now. No more BF3 action until release day.

12th October 2011, 03:04 PM #126 damn... £32 for PC isn't too bad I guess!
-
12th October 2011, 03:06 PM #127 £29.99 for PC on Amazon
£37.99 for Xbox
£37.99 for PS3
This is cheaper if you sign up to love film with the amazon code and get the £15 voucher which is sent out with the first rental

12th October 2011, 03:06 PM #128 The beauty of getting on the beta was that it allowed you to get a good idea of how your PC would handle it without having to actually buy the game. I learnt that my expectations for my rig were too high.

Cheers Neph - saw it for £32 on Play.com

29th October 2011, 09:28 PM #132 what you all think so far?
I like it but keep falling through the ground on some maps.
I feel the sniper rifles are bit under powerd as well. I've only played as recon so far. I think shot to the chest or head should be 1 hit kill. At the moment it seems 2 or 3 shots to the chest = kill.

29th October 2011, 09:29 PM #133 SVD is underpowered for sure....love the engineering class more than anything else tbh, not sure why, just seems to fit my style better

29th October 2011, 10:24 PM #134 I think the semi auto rifles are better, but still under powered.
The bolt action rifles are frustrating ( Even though it's what I use ) If you don't hit the enemy's head it's game over. Either the enemy has killed you whilst you reload, the enemy has ran away or taken cover.
Hitting the head isn't always as easy as said... especially from distance.
Then on top of that the rifles have a light house on the scope to broadcast to everyone where you are.
I really think they've made it difficult and a bit unfair for snipers.
Hope they alter the rifles or the last bolt action rifle is good..
On another note. Can anyone else not map actions to their mouse buttons?
