There's a special place in my own personal hell for IX.

Not that I don't like the game, just never finished it because every copy I got used to crash relentlessly until I got fed up.

Never completed it either. Not for any particular reason, just haven't done. Vivi always amused me, though.

I've still got my GoldenEye 007 cartridge for the N64 somewhere, bloody loved that game. I could still play it for hours on end now!

Me and the lads still have games of Slappers-Only
Amusing free-for-alls, dodgy alliances, backstabbing and all. Always worth a good laugh.

Starcraft 1 is still one of my all time favorites although I know it was long after C&C or even Warcraft 1 first came out. Played all those but still prefer the original Starcraft.

Quest for Glory series was one of my all time series games.

I have 2 favorite racing games. Hi-Octane and then the later Wipeout. Both absolutely awesome racers and top notch for their time!

FPS's. I played Wolfenstien 3d. That was pretty good at the time. But Doom1/2 was much better as you could play mutliplayer, plus it had the "creepy" factor.

An old DOS game that I used to like was Jones in the fast lane.

And of course for the adventure/puzzle game nothing beats Monkey Island.

For all of you who love old games - gog.com are having a massive sale right now, with most games at $3-5, including a massive chunk of Bullfrog games for $12 and Duke Nukem 3D for free. All of them are tweaked to run on modern OSes with no faff, no DRM, and lots of extras. Can't recommend the site enough, and everyone in this thread should fine something good in there
