@Dos_Box X-Wing Alliance works on Windows 7 if you run it through Steam
*Edit*
Set it to run in Windows 98 Compatibility Mode
Tell Steam to scan for new games
Run through steam with 3d acceleration switched off
However it wont run in full screen![]()

Been playing Blade Runner again recently - rather damned good and still difficult![]()

Operation Flashpoint & Neverwinter nights

Everything by Sensible Software. Sensible Soccer, Cannon Fodder, Wizkid... all brilliant.
Syndicate on the Amiga is probably a defining part of my imagination as well, even though I was rubbish at it at 8 years old.
Teenage years were spent in Duke Nukem 3D and the Build editor, which I'm surprised no-one has mentioned yet!
Zool and Road Rash were favourite of mine.
original Dues Ex for me, favourite game of all time, other than that its super mario![]()
Probably been mentioned but Dungeon Keeper series were just fantastic!
Definitely! I lurve the X-Com series. And another Jullian Gollop game for the ZX Spectrum - Chaos (gr8 to play with m8s).
Also Age of Empires 1,2+3, and Unreal Tournament are essential games for any LAN party.
Recently been playing the old NES game Excite Bike, but revamped in 3D on the 3DS, I'm also gonna download good old GB Donkey Kong for the 3DS Virtual Console soon (once I get my head out of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D).

Loved the first, second wasn't as good imho.
Sim tower
Constructor
Golden Axe
Baldurs Gate
Fallout
Blood
Shadow Warrior (took me a while to remember the name, loved this!)
Heretic
Hexen
Little big adventure
Can name so many more... I always go back to them and find them not worthy of my nostalgia compared to new games![]()
