3d ps3, help please!
hi,
I just got this deal from PCworld ( SAMSUNG PS50C680 50" Full HD Plasma 3D TV at cheap prices | PC World ) on a SAMSUNG PS50C680 50" Full HD Plasma 3D TV but i cannot see how the 3D works with my PS3. the ps3 is completley updated and did detect that it was a 50" 3d TV but how do i turn it 3d on?
all i can find is unhelpfull youtube videos showing it in 3D ( YouTube - COD MW2 3D vision )
the TV came with 3 3D shutter lens glasses. should there be an emitter for these or is it built in? as far as i no the HDMI cable is type 1.4
thanks for reading

I presumed as long as the title you are playing is 3D that it would enable or use the 3D features - might be worth while either
1. Checking through the telly settings or if there is a button or way of manually forcing / over riding the 3D setting
2. What type of glasses are they, do they require batteries or are they non powered ones ?
3. As above ensure the title whether it be a game or movie supports 3D
4. Check to see if there are any firmware updates you can apply to the telly - I know with the samsung I have you can download the firmware updater from the samsung website and use a USB memory device ( ext hdd or memory stick or whatever ) to update the firmware on the telly
You said your PS3 firmware was up to date
Can't think of ought else.
