About LinkBacksHas anyone played the new F1 game?
I played it at the weekend on XBox and then got it for my PC!! What a game it is!!! game play is wicked, graphics are jaw dropping!!!

Fancied it when doing the food shop last night, but I can't justify pulling out £40 at the minute for a game. Perhaps wait until Xmas and get a pre-owned one.
I want it but as Hightower implied, £36+ is bloomin expensive. Hope it isn't a let down like MotoGP 08 was all those months ago.
Excellent game. Physics are a complete load of tosh - but plays very well, looks amazing!

ah no - it's the fact if you go in too hot into a corner and they come back inside and they clip you, you get a 10 second penalty, or in a crash involving 8 cars, you make contact with anyone and you will get a penalty....
As long as you steer clear of everyone else, it's fine (Codemasters are apparently working on a patch though)
Hmmm...I do think that is maybe a little daft but I'm still intrigued.
If you like F1, it is still the best F1 game by far - and it does look amazing!
I haven't given multiplayer a go yet though, and I need to, as FIFA out soon which will suck up all my time!
Are you able to drive the wrong way around circuits, with Alonso and Schumacher in your sights and smash into them?
If not, I ain't interested.
Oh for the glory days of the mid 90's and Nascar and IndyCar from Papyrus.

Got it yesterday (360 incase it matters i cba with games on my pc too much like work)
My main annoyance so far is i wish it had a suggested gear for corners as the first race it throws you into is bahrain and its not a course i know well unlike say suzuka/hockenheim/monza etc so its a steep learning curve. I have managed to qualify my virgin car 10th but i just dont seem to be able to complete 10 laps i keep spinning out in sector 2 usually getting hacked off and restarting lol. its certainly a pretty game though but i have to agree on the flags i got a drivethrough penalty in a race for a minor bump and a 5 place grid drop once in practice.
hmm turn left followed by turn left repeat till bored lol
It's a bit more involved than that when you have 64 people online racing!
The penalty stuff is a joke on the game I must admit! also I dont know if anyone has noticed the pit stops!!! if you in lets say 9th.............u go in for a pit stop and you sit there for a good 15 seconds before you are allowed to go and you end up in last!!! this has happened many times!!!
