What do you exactly do on this game? A mate has bought it, you dont go round nicking peoples horses do you?
I love rockstar games but just not sure about the wild west theme, I am normally not keen on *older* set games but if the story is good....
I got it on Friday but have only managed to play for an hour or so because of the nice weather :-)
It seems very impressive so far: I got attacked by bandits and after dispatching most of them, one decided to escape on horse back.. I managed to shoot him in the shoulder with my rifle and he fell off of his horse but got dragged around as his foot was stuck in the stirrups. Lots of fun had by all!
Well, you can nick horses if you want.... or try to tame some wild ones. Or ride on stage coaches, trains. I've come across one mission where I had to steal a horse out of about 40 but its not Gran Theft Horse.
Most real missions include raiding gang hideouts, building up enough of a team to raid an outlaw hideout. Rescusing people from oulaws, getting people from A to B safely. Accepting bounties for wanted posters. Helping out main characters also like in GTA. You also do all the small things, play card games, hunting etc....
If you like the GTA style games, this is the best of the bunch IMHO.
oh and online is an absolute blast. whole world open for multiplayer... gang warfare, posses or lone gunmen.
@Fasmas: I got done by that yesterday.... lasso, hogtie and left on train track.

Very true.... sneaky cougars.
Hope theres not a survivalist trophy for taking out the cougars with a knife, I'm scared to do this with the wolves. I've not come across bears yet either... (bit scared)
not played much yet but it really is a corker of a game. both in gameplay, scope and visuals. I look forward to many hours to come moseing about the wild west
