Has anyone had any success setting up a teamspeak server from home. I am currently looking at setting one up for the guild that I am in to use.
Will I have to use dyndns to get a name to allow people to connect to it?

I have set one up. It depends on how your connections are set up as to whether you need dyndns, also can you guarantee the uptime like most paid ones can? You can get VERY cheap teamspeak hosting for something like £3 per month for 10 slots.
Also you need to think about the bandwidth issues aswell!

I used to have one set up, you just need to port forward the port you have chosen to use to your machine. you will need to give the clients your external IP address as well. I did use DynDNS on mine but it is not required. Make sure the firewalls are allowing traffic from the ports also, and if you have and Symantec end user product like norton remember to use the Norton Removal tool and replace with a free AVG or Avira to make your life easier (That goes for any machine )
