So once the crystalarium expands so you can learn every class do you just stick to the ones and improve them first or balance out with everything?

After you finish the story, all Roles unlock, but your characters don't do well and they cost an absolute ton of CP to max, but its more the status's your looking for, all that +STR +MAG +HP, then get the Genjii glove to unlock one of the last trophys (Need todo 100,000+ damage in a single strike) and without the glove you can only get 99,999.

Lots todo at the end, I will make sure XIII is another Platinum for my PSN id

So I should max out the original classes first and then pump the left over CP (If any) into the new unlocked classes?

Yes, and good luck pumping the unlocked classes, as the CP requirement is massive, they're not there as a default for a reason But should give you something todo end of game

Just waiting a bit now to get my Helter Skelter upgrade item, 11hours, Chapter 7, maxxed roles so far!

If you complete all of the Cie'lith missions then at the end you get the "Growth Egg" accessory which gives you massive amounts of bonus CP for each fight you do, plus you'll gain a fair bit of CP by doing all the missions as well.

But yeah, if you want to get max out all characters get ready for hours and hours and hours of grinding away.

What really annoys me atm is that you can start a battle fight it until almost the very end with no issues then have the leader killed with one hit.... grrrr

I assume you've fang in the party? Make sure if there are powerful single blow attacks, make sure Fang or Snow are in SEN mode with someone running MED, its all about fast switching of para's as well.

Changing into SEN, the first move is Provoke, which should keep the heat off your leader, just make sure the SEN isnt the leader, if the SEN dies, the MED should revive, and if its going really bad, summon an Eidolon(sp)? which will raise everyone and fully heal the party

Ahh, you'll find alot of Chapter 11 mobs you cannot kill, they are overpowered really, you need to finish 11/12 than come back and smash them up, some you can kill, some you simply cannot, yet at least
