10th March 2010, 02:03 PM #31 I am running this on low graphics settings and it's performing OK but looks good for a machine that should barely be able to run it in Single-Player. The sounds sometimes loops in filmclips but that's a hilarious bug if anything as the NPCs sound like they are rapping.

A shame they didn't add support for the Steam friends list to jump straight in though. You have to go through EA's already pretty dodgy servers.

15th March 2010, 01:48 PM #33 Its a very good game, really got into it. You may need to tweak some settings in the settings.ini if you are experiencing choppy games. Here are my suggestions to smooth gameplay without detracting from the graphics too much
Go to (for example) C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\BFBC2\settings.in i and open with wordpad
MAIN TWEAK > RenderAheadLimit=* (its set to 2 standard but if you are stuttering set it to 1 or 0)
FOV= (55-200 (75 is good for 16:10))
HSAO Off
Bloom Off

15th March 2010, 02:06 PM #34 for some reason when I updated my nvidia drivers i kept getting BSODs on this game, so as such I had to roll back and still having issues running above low graphics, however even on low its pretty good.
Add me as a friend nephilim2k10

Also, performance seems to improve if you change "DirectX=Auto" to "DirectX=9" (It does not support DX10)

Add your tags all and in general add people who were before you in the last (aka last to add their name adds everyone)

I thought it was DX10?!? but its only certain effects which would explain the perfomance differences.
I will be honest I run @ 1920x1200 everything pretty maxed out without issues on my GX280
