What games are good?

Right i have had the ps3 for 8-9days and glad i brought it again after selling mine 2 years ago.

Here are the games i have so far.

• Haze
• Heavenly Sword
• Infamous
• Kill Zone 2
• Little Big Planet
• Mirrors Edge
• Assassins Greed - Loving this the most.
• Unreal Tournament 3
• Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe
• The Orange Box.

What other games do people recommend?

Batman: Arkham Asylum is well worth a look if you like third person action / stealth games.

You can pick up GTA IV / GTA IV's Downloadable content fairly cheap now, that game took up a lot of my time last year...

Burnout Paradise ultimate box is also very good. It's a brilliant game if you don't have a lot of time for gaming as you can just pick it up for short periods.

I've heard very good things about Assassin's Creed 2. May be worth buying once you're done with the first one.

The multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is very good on the consoles if you're into First Person Shooters.


I've got a 360 so I'm not sure on any PS3 exclusives but I've seen a lot of good reviews for Uncharted 2.

FYI GTA IV's Downloadable content is xbox only.
Resistance 2 is quite good and cheap.

Uncharted 1/2 are brilliant.

COD:MW2 is a must have
Battlefield Bad Company is pretty good online.

Tactical? - Red Alert 3, Valkyria Chronicles
Sandbox? - Farcry 2 (Only a tenner brand new!)
RPG? (okay, Tactical RPG) - Disgaea 3
Warfare? - Modern Warfare 2, Operation Flashpoint
Superhard hacky slashy? - Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Demons Souls
Just lookin' cool? Devil May Cry 4

If your into RPGs my vote goes to Dragon Age: Origins.

I've been playing it on the PC for a couple of weeks and its the most engrossing game I've played in years. So much story and plot and the fighting is top notch.

Think Baldur's Gate 2 but with better graphics and an even bigger plot!

Otherwise Batman: Arkham Asylum is a must play.

F.E.A.R. - One of the scariest/jumpiest games I've ever played.

Motorstorm - Pretty good graphics, good soundtrack and a canny bit of fun.

Resistance 2 - Cheap and cheerful, single player isn't half bad, but multiplayer is amazing.

I've only played it on PC myself, but 'The Saboteur' is an excellent game - available on PS3.

Spot on, got it on PC this weekend and quite frankly I can't stop playing. Roll on Christmas and I will be tackling that bad boy from all angles!
