Left 4 Dead 2
So who has pre ordered? I have been playing the demo and it seems good. Anyone else been playing the demo and think there is enough new stuff to warrant a new game?

A L4D2 thread with no reply?! Blasphemy!
I played the demo and pre ordered because it was brill! Now the games out, the initial server quality is iffy at best due to volumes. A fair bit of lag and it seems when I launch a lobby and look for a "official" server, there are never any so I have to host locally.
But I still looooove it! I don't like the way people say "it should be DLC for L4D" because there is way too much new stuff for it to be DLC. 5 new campaigns, loads of new weapons, better gore, more special infected etc etc! It is a squeal and I love it! Plus it's a lot harder too. Spent 2 hours playing the first campaign on expert and only did the first 2 levels!
Rawns <3 L4D2.
EDIT: Chainsaw FTW!!!!!!

Have it downloaded and waiting for it to unlock. Looking at my Steam friends list is teasing me as they all have it unlocked due to pre-order!

Been playing this all week after getting it on pre-order via Steam. Bloomin ace fun! feels a bit harder than the first one though!

Hehe, my 9th birthday, 1997... my mum bought me Dungeon Keeper and Grand Theft Auto for the PC. And they say that games have an impact on kids... I was 9 and running people over, robbing banks and stealing cars... look at me now!

On topic - L4D2 I was disappointed with. Just felt like a re-hash of the first game, which I quickly got bored with, with extra slashy, bashy and cutty weapons and freakier zombies. I got my kick out of the demo and that's it, personally didn't feel it was worth the money for what you get. But hey, don't let me put a downer on the thread

Just so you know I spent last night chopping of zombies heads with a sword and some other guy on there had a chainsaw. In one swing he killed all the zombies in front of him and all of us stood near him as we were all low on health. Vote kick

I got my copy at midnight from local ASDA and played till around 2am...what a game...seems harder than the first and the new weapons make the game that much better.
Chainsaw is awesome
