Now all 3 big-boy conferences are over and there's plenty of stuff floating around the net... time to throw on the boxing gloves.
I was genuinely impressed by Natal, the games that were demonstrated I felt were pretty tame, but showed a lot of promise - however, just under an hour ago, I was much more impressed with Sony's implementation - including live tech demo's of FPS, RTS, swordplay, whips (if you will...) and archery...
Which one is the superior, I cannot say... but they are both equally eye-opening.
Looking forward to ModNation Racers, GT5, GoW3 (duhh...) and obviously some other games that have slipped my immediate grasp... AC2 etc
Metroid Prime looked like a lot of fun, looking forward to hopefully one of the new Mario games - yeah, I'm that

3rd June 2009, 07:42 AM #2 I can't wait for Natal looks really good
, I only hope they don't do away with the controller all together. Because I don't have a big room, the room they demonstrated natal in was massive; I haven’t seen Sony’s or Nintendo’s videos yet

3rd June 2009, 09:22 AM #3 With the exception of the Wii, they're all additional controllers, so I can't really see them doing away with the controller.
iRacing is the only racing game I'm aware of that doesn't support a keyboard and wheels have been around for quite a while.

3rd June 2009, 09:25 AM #4 My impression of E3 is that Microsoft blew its competition out of the water! Sony and Nintendos announcments were really mediocre and nothing exciting compared to Microsofts.
Forza3 is looking amazing

3rd June 2009, 09:41 AM #5 I thought M$ blew the comp out of the water, but saying that I would love to get my hands on a copy of uncharted 2! Did anyone see it running? WOW!!!

3rd June 2009, 09:45 AM #6 For all MS show, Sony came up trumps this year with a big list of exclusive games:
PS3: The Agency (R* exclusive), Final Fantasy 14, The Last Guardian, GT5, Uncharted 2, GOW3
PSP: MGS, GT, Resi-evil
360: Some MORE add-ons and forza 3

Demonstration of deformation in GT5?

8th June 2009, 06:26 PM #9 GT5 is looking good...
800 cars
35 tracks
Not fussed by visual damage, but it'll give it a better feel... and they've done it well by all accounts.
Hope they improve online to prevent the people that ruin it. Even just private racing would be good, GT5p seriously lacks in the online dept.
Probably released in 2012.
October for the PSP version. w00t

8th June 2009, 07:06 PM #10 GT5 only has 800 cars & 35 tracks? I thought that was purely the portable version?
I do agree and hope the online play is sorted for GT5, I guess damage desire is something for the truly hardcore...
I love damage... but I also know where damage is a bad thing... I tend to turn it off for learning circuits (I can't drive slowly, it's flat out or out flat
) and quite often I hate having it on for online races - one muppet who can't brake to save their lives (let alone someone elses...) would put you out of the race in most cases... but, that's something we'll find out...
Has GT5: P had any upgrades since they released the GTbyCitroen etc? I traded my copy in just before then...
