Video: OnLive gaming demonstrated live, network latency discussed
This looks like it could be very interesting. Assuming they can keep the monthly costs competitive, this could prove quite popular. A £15 p/m buffet service would be a lot cheaper in the long term than keeping your gaming PC up to date....

hmm, I did think it looked good - but I'm not sure the internet connection availble round my way is good enough..
Mind you I've been playing the QuakeLive and Battlefield Heroes Betas and they've run pretty well...

Great, now I can hit my Virgin Data Cap even quicker! Cant see this working very well in my opinion.
There has to be much to much lag involved to make it viable for games that involve quick reaction and reflexes.
U move based on the video stream, it goes to the server farm, makes the move, the video is encoded on the fly then piped back to you. But hey what do I know, proof is in the eating
