Rep Power: 0 | Being a huge fan of the first two games I was unsure of just how the transistion onto a console would work. I was even more apprehensive knowing that the game was created by Bethesda studios who did a good job on Oblivion but it didn't immerse me in an alternative universe like good RPG should. Who's playing it? How far you got? Do you still raise a smile when you blow a raiders head clean off for the 1000th time? |

Rep Power: 0 | I'm not sure about a demo being available anywhere I'd imagine it would be quite hard to showcase the game with such a short section of the game. I'm sure that this weeks Gamer TV (I can't remember if thats what is still called but its the games show on bravo this sat (around noon I think)) has a big review of the game should give you a good idea of what its like. It plays unlike any game I've played before, the hybrid of first person shooter and RPG works so effecively. The V.A.T.S combat system adds a level of strategy to combat that gives you a real buzz when you defeat overwhelming force with inferior firepower but sly tactics. I'd say its a massive recomendation for anyone as there is so much to the game that you can't fail to find somethinig you love about it. It's easily the best PS3 game I've played to date. |

Rep Power: 12 | It's friggin awesome. Got it on PC (Limited Edition Lunch Box with Bobble Head) and I can't stop playing it. The game map looks tiny in comparison with the first two games, but it's not. The area is massive. Underground bunkers, sewers, caves, semi-nuked buildings and a whole destroyed city to explore and Super Mutants to destroy. I'm now using the VATS sytem to fight and the game is loads more fun above what it was. It's very open ended with lots of ways of finishing missions, and the story keeps twisting and shifting brilliantly. Power Armour looks cool as well. This game is NOT for kids though. Gratuitous violence and language throughout. 9/10 because there are some random glitches and hangups. |

Rep Power: 16 | It has all sorts of awesome on the PC, my wife has not seen me in days. The perks are great, I cant wait for the mysterious stranger perk. The only thing I hate is the speed at which you walk, its set just a little too slow. But once you have visited an area you can travel there instantly which is nice. |

Rep Power: 0 | Looks like I'll just have to go on a town wide rampage then. Just have to dispose of that troublesome sherrif and his meddling robot deputies. Has anyone taken the bloody mess perk yet? I've found the deaths to be pretty grisly as it is, can't imagine how bloody mess will compare. |

Blog Entries: 1 Rep Power: 67 | My character has that perk. It does what it says on the tin, even in some cases where it's clearly impossible. For example last night I had several super mutants legs blow off when I shot them in the face/arms... Last edited by Geoff; 05-11-2008 at 02:55 PM.. |

Rep Power: 1 | Nothing better than being torn apart by bounty hunters, reloading just before the battle and going in slightly more sensibly... 2 grenades via VATS. Lots of legs separated from bodies. :-D |

Rep Power: 5 | I can only say 3 words: Love the Game!!! Played Oblivion and when I heard that they were doing FallOut3 based on the same engine, had to play it. Had it since the release date and can't put it down. -Ken Last edited by wagnerk; 05-11-2008 at 04:06 PM.. Reason: grammer |
