Default Re: Final Fantasy Online [XI] - Open Discussion

Hope you all enjoyed the large update this week:

http://www.playonline.com/pcd/update...b1/detail.html

Beseiged - NM's & lvl 7 [hopefully less but much harder monsters which would help the lag problem], New features, and a whole lot more.

Nath.

they've just introduced something in the latest update called level sync. means you can party with anyone of higher level but can then designate a party member and anyone higher gets level synced with them. and the 2nd best thing is they dont have to change equipment as that gets automatically made comparable to the levelsync and the best thing is they still get experience towards their unsync'ed level.

i tried it last night. me 43 rdm with a 67sam and a 17 mnk. it's freakin awesome!

its the fun and less seriousness of low level but getting xp towards lvl44 and 3 ppl trio'ing in the upper part of yughott grotto managed to get 200xp on a number of occasions.

I actually imported this when it was US only, and loved it for 6 months.

Found a £1 copy recently, and just couldn't play it. The graphics were beyond bad. I can take simplistic, but these were just... blurry? I'm currently replaying Planescape: Torment, so it's not like i'm a graphics junkie...

The movement I also couldn't get back in touch with. Was it really not wasd, but mouse based?

I ended up giving up before even venturing out to kill a rabbit.

I guess i've been spoiled over the years. I couldn't live without wasd now, unless it's isometric point and click, in which case that's more natural.

i dont know how anyone ever plays it on just a kb and mouse
I've always used a dual analogue gamepad. makes it work exactly like a the older console FF games.
