28th April 2008, 09:29 AM #31 I would like to get the Wii fit but for one little niggle. It's the fact that Ninty has said that they may release games that utilise the pad depending on how well it sells.
To me this is the wrong way round. To push and drive the sales of this they should be stating more upcoming releases that will utilise the pad.
I was thinking as to how and here are a couple.
You got the boxing and then you could use the pad to sense when you duck and dive out the way of an incoming fist. You could use the Pad to determine the stance you are using in Golf and thus your swing and whack could be adjusted due to me being crap at golf.
But the one i like best is Zelda. Imagine using the wii Pad to trigger switches on the floor and to fit with the sword. You could move and tilt on the pad to make the motion while keeping the nunchuck and the wii-mote for complete sword fighting and shield control.
Obviously i ain't played the Wii fit as most of this won't probably be do-able. :-(
But if they could just utilise the accessories then it may just be worth the £70

Could be good fun especially in multiplayer mode with more than one pad.

UPDATE...
ME FIT developed a leak and excessive fluid pored out from all surface area. So upgraded to Wii Fit cost was expensive but managed to bag lots of GF Love Tokens so cost forgotten and 2 exercise machines now being used to much enjoyment.

Got mine on saturday, lots of fun although the yoga doesn't really like me much! Pretty good fun so far, just hope they bring out full titles that utilise it as it's a great piece of kit and works beautifully.
Bit humiliating when it weighs you and changes your "wii mii" into what looks like Matt Lucas though.

It is defiantly a good laugh and after just 4 days I am already feeling increased energy levels.
One thing though that I don't like about it. When you do a body test at the end it gives you a WiiFit Age. It seems completely random at time when your BMI and agility scores are almost exactly the same as yesterday but I seem to have dropped about 10 years off my Wiifit age. Yet if you do even a little worse than yesterday it seems to add about 14 years onto your Wiifit age. How does that work?
