I bought a second hand 6870 from Ebay for £58, that smacked FC3 around at huge FPS on near max settings. The game is great fun, but seriously graphically violent (and realistically so). Don't get watched playing by your partner, they'll think you're a psycho!

    So far I've purchased myself:

    FarCry3
    Dishonoured
    The Witcher 2
    Assetta Corsa

Only really played Assetta so far (which is a great driving Sim by the way) but look forward to plowing through the rest eventually. Got to love the Steam Sales.

Last day of the sale today so if there's anything you want best get it now! Been playing Tomb Raider and really enjoying it which is surprising as I don't think I've play it since the first one was released.

    Also bought :-

    Child of light
    Guacamelee
    Metro 2033
    Spartan assault
    Skullgirls
    Dragon Age: Ultimate Edition
    The Swapper

Wolfenstein on there a lot cheaper, very much worth a punt. It's a fantastic game.

Looked at that, then saw the minimum specs and just haven't got a PC capable of running it, time to save my pennies.
Somehow managed to get through without buying anything, every time I was tempted I made myself look at my steam library to see the massive list of games I've not had chance to play

Hit me up with trade requests, I have one left. I expect many will want to offload their event cards this close to deadline.

I just sell all the cards I get now, be they from the sales or from game playing. I've made about £9 total so far. They only sell for about 10p but it soon adds up.

Well, despite chaining my wallet into a nuclear bunker on Mars, I caved in and went a bit mad:

    Assassin's Creed Revelations, Brotherhood + 3
Battlefield 2 (Complete) + Battlefield Bad Company 2 (+ all DLC)
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (+ all DLC)
Train Simulator 2014 (come on, you all want it really and for a fiver I couldn't refuse.. even if it took me an entire hour before I worked out how to move the bloody thing)
    DiRT 3
    Dead Island (+ Riptide)
Rollercoaster Tycoon 1, 2, 3 (deluxe editions etc.)

Not bad for a total of £40-ish though, even if I know that I probably won't ever play them like the other 90% of my library! Clearly I have way too much time on my hands..

I got... Tropico 4 Collector's Bundle, Prison Architect and Banished. Have been hooked on Prison Architect over the weekend... I did have a lot more in my basket, but I already have a pile of codes that I haven't used yet, so made myself transfer them to my wishlist instead...
    @nephilim - what's Europa like? that's one I transferred to wishlist.

It's good. It's hard if you haven't played a paradox game before. But it's the easiest of the series to do. World conquest is doable as any nation provided you know the mechanics.
