Do, it's a really great game when you get going! It's fun with more people too. If you decide to give it another go, shout and I'll join you. I have a TS server so can talk you through the basics. (Rawns on steam in case you want to add me, I'm also in the Edugeek group)

Also, Terraria came out 6 months before Minecraft!

Really?! That surprises me, Minecraft has been around for bloody ages! (well, it was Beta for what seemed like years...)

EDIT: Sorry @Rawns but Minecraft was first! Released on PC in 2009 (as Alpha) whereas Terraria wasn't released until 2011. I knew I remembered playing Minecraft ages ago (you had to play it inside a browser originally)

I'd definitely be up for a Terraria server!
I've kind of fell out-of-love with Minecraft at the moment (as many people will know from not seeing me around)

    Edugeek server would be awesome.

Saying that, I have ran a server on my media centre so could easily set one up.
I'd be up for joining in.

Sounds like you got hit by the bug where a pump off-screen has unlimited capacity. Also used to be hell was made EZ-mode by pumping water down where it makes contact with lava and becomes obsidian (that was patched). I did make an obsidian generator before using two buckets and the liquid multiplier bug, check my Terraria screenshots to see it.

Ahhh, my bad. I looked on Wikipedia on the right side at release dates (which I assume are the "official" release dates) and did not see the bit at the top saying publicly released May 2009 as a development alpha build.

Either way, Terraria is an awesome game and the rewards from playing it are great if you put a little time in.

Maybe I'll look at getting it back up and running tonight then and post details. I usually leave my media centre PC running 24/7 so people can come and go as they please.

Just thought I'd chime in here to say if anyone hasn't played Deadlight yet - get it now in the sale! It's an incredibly enjoyable game - think Abe's Oddysee with more action and zombies. Of all the 30 or so games (!!!) I've bought so far in this sale, I keep coming back to this one.

Payday: The Heist! For £3.74 is a steal! Great fun in co-op! Think of L4D2 but bank robberies instead!!!

Always toy with Garry's Mod too. Anyone recommend?

For £1.75 or whatever it was this morning, I got Garry's Mod just to have a play with. It's one of those I'ver heard mentioned a lot but don't really understand...

Glad Payday is on sale, I was hoping to get that one

If you get it and need a wingman on your team (you will as the game really is best played in co-op!), msg me on Steam. I have another mate with it who can never say no to a game. It really is great fun.

Looking forward to getting Payday 2.

Nice one, I'll join you for a game soon

I bought the four pack cuz my brother and brother-in-law both had this on their wish list too - what's the limit on the number you can have in one game?
