Left 4 Dead 2 - Now on Linux!

You lucky, lucky Steam Linux users! Left 4 Dead 2 is now avaiable with 75% off! It would be criminal not to buy it! I'm looking at you @localzuk!

    At £3.74, it's a steal!

Not a game I'm interested in sadly. I am impressed with the volume of Linux games on there now though.

Yeah the Linux gaming scene is really gathering steam...

From an indie perspective, it doesn't make sense not to make a Linux version of your game IMO - there are tools out there to make porting a piece of cake. MonoGame for instance looks very interesting, I'm putting something together on that at the moment just to see how good it really is at porting but theoretically you write your code once and then simply compile for Windows, Windows 8 "Modern", Linux, Mac OS X, iOS and Android - all using the XNA framework. Bastion is the best known game developed with it AFAIK.
