Well, I'm massively impressed with Infinite. I might reinstall 1 and 2 - I never got very far in 1 and I don't think I ever actually started 2! Just sitting there in my steam playlist :/

1 is worth it and 2 is still a great game just not quite as emersive as 1.

2 was made by a different company and I hated it. Infinite is one of the best games I have ever played! Take your time and take in the scenery and characters. Already have a little crush on Elizabeth!

Just further to my statement about the engine, it suffered a little on a couple of scenes on my Xbox but that could be my console. The wardens office was the worst offender with the environment bleeding through lighting in little dots that looked like active items when moving. Fine almost everywhere else though and impressive given the scale of the environment and the limits of the 360.

About 5/6 hours in now, absolutely loving it. Wanted to carry on playing last night but felt that until 11:30 was just about enough. Argh this is so much fun to play.

Just finished the PC version. As everyone else has said it's definitely worth playing and the plot, script, artwork and production values are awesome. There was something about the combat itself that wasn't as satisfying as it could be IMO but in overall it's really good.

A game hasn't affected me as much in a long time, where I've put it down and gone to bed thinking about it, going over the "what if's" and the delicacies of the game's plot and twists. And I've already gotten a lot further through Bioshock 1 now than I did the first time round

Yeah, the combat was a bit lack lustre. Some of the enemies where designed really well but the weapons themselves where a bit boring and how the enemies behaved was boring in the extreme. Even with rails the combat did not really liven up
Loved the game but one of my impressions of the game was that it felt like it could have been a bit longer.
The main strength of Bio-shock Infinite is its setting and story line.
The start of that game at the lighthouse is incredible, had me wondering what the heck was going on and left me so uneasy.
