His setup seems to work very well though so it's just the recipe of Advanced Solar Panels will be the hard bit.
    @Garacesh, feel free to help me make some advanced panels
    @TBlax

    We can set up the thing-a-ma-bobs in the attics, and then run the power down the sides? Would that work @Garacesh / @Geoff ?

    @TBlax - Wires lose energy over distance, yes. That's why I just use copper for Low-Voltage and Diamond (fibre) cable for everything higher xD Bit overkill, but resources aren't really a problem right now lol.

    @Sunnyknight - Yes it would work, but aforementioned loss-over-distance means powering things at the very bottom of your towers may be a problem if you're relying on solar panels on the roof. High-grade cabling and multiple batbox/mfe/etc's on route might be an idea. Plus it increases the amount of power you can actually store.

    We have enough space on the roofs for about 200 solar panels. I'm worried about having to create multiple Batbox / MFE / MFSU... gotta be an easier way to do it, surely?

    multiple solar panels are bad. They cause lag. That's why the advanced ones exist.

    You really won't need more than ten, I'd say. Each Advanced Solar Panel generates 8 EU/t per day and 1 EU/t at night. Ten would give you 80 EU per tick. More than enough to charge your boxes whilst a tonne of stuff was running off them.
    I haven't timed how long it takes mine to charge from empty, but even if I run all of my gadgets on at once, they're not drawing enough power to empty it.
    Unless you have machines that are always functioning. I wouldn't recommend solar panels for that, though. They're a nice way to charge up MFE's/Batboxes, but for 'always on' machinery, you'd likely need a different power source

    Ultimate Hybrid is 512eu/t daytime and 64eu/t overnight.

    Someone kill this @Geoff! Him and his chuffing uber ott panels! Hmpf! lol
    @Garacesh Another power source such as? I'm thinking OIL, but i can't reproduce OIL, and i don't want to make a BIOFUEL farm. Most of you have those, need something different. Wind power x1000? lol
